Sculpted in Time

UPDATE: Sculpted in Time won the Marketing Campaign of the Year Award at the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC) Canadian Tourism Awards.

The campaign for Sculpted in Time that I worked on extensively last year is up for an Alto Award under the Marketing Excellence (over $50,000) category.

I had a lot of fun working on that campaign, not only doing the ad buys, but also designing a whole slew of online ads and takeovers, making the movie poster, pre-roll videos, and print ads, and watching the big screen premiere of the films with 600 other people at Summon the Snow.  Our timelines with Banff Lake Louise Tourism were incredibly tight and they coincided with the launch of our winter campaigns and fall season pass sale, and yet we still managed to almost triple our goal of 500,000 views and still have our best season pass campaign and winter vacation campaigns ever.

From the nomination release:

“Site traffic to increased by 62 per cent, ski vacation bookings also increased by 33 per cent and the videos had over 1.4 million views.”
